CAD Engineer Needed:

It’s time to add to our team. We are a progressive thinking canvas shop. We are looking for someone that has experience or educated in CAD. We reverse engineer boats then create cover and enclosure patterns. We then use a CNC cutting table to cut out our material and hand that off to our sewing machinists. 🚨 NOW HIRING – AUTO & MARINE TECHNICIAN 🚨

MR Canvas & Upholstery is looking for a skilled, hands-on technician to join our team. This is a doer position — not a “stand around and watch” job.
We work on everything from automotive interiors to full custom boat enclosures, and we need someone who can confidently take things apart and put them back together the right way.

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Disassemble & reassemble automotive interiors (seats, trim, panels, dashboards)
Install automotive convertible tops & headliners
Assist with custom automotive interiors
Work on boat interiors and upholstery components
Install boat covers, tops, and full enclosures
Fit-up, adjustments, and final installs

💪 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Strong mechanical ability (you’re comfortable tearing into vehicles/boats)
Experience with hand & power tools
Attention to detail — clean, tight, professional results matter
Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work

🔥 HUGE PLUS IF YOU HAVE:
Upholstery or trim experience
Convertible top or headliner experience
Marine canvas or enclosure experience
General automotive mechanic experience

💰 PAY:
Based on experience
Room to grow in a specialized, high-demand trade
